Terms & Conditions – AWS Summit Giveaway
1. Introduction
1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the giveaway (“Giveaway”) for a Nintendo Switch console with Pokémon Pokopia (“Prize”) run by Automation Consultants Ltd (“the Organiser”) at AWS Summit London (the “Event”).
1.2. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Giveaway is open to attendees of AWS Summit London, taking place on 22 April 2026 in London, UK.
2.2. Entrants must be at least 18 years old.
2.3. Employees of the Event organisers, the Organiser, sponsors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
3. Entry Requirements
3.1. To be eligible to enter the Giveaway, participants must speak to a member of the Organiser’s team at the booth and be scanned in by a staff member during the Event on 22 April 2026.
3.2. Participants must complete the Giveaway survey, which is available at the Event and may also be completed after the Event via an email invitation if not already submitted.
3.3. Entry into the Giveaway is only confirmed once the survey has been completed in full.
3.4. Only one entry per person is permitted.
3.5. Entries open at 08:00 (GMT) on 22 April 2026 and close at 23:59 (GMT) on 30 April 2026.
3.6. The Organiser is not responsible for any failure to receive the survey invitation due to incorrect or incomplete contact details, or technical issues outside of its control.
4. Winner Selection & Notification
4.1. The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible and completed entries.
4.2. The winner will be notified during the week commencing 4 May 2026 via email from marketing@automation-consultants.com.
4.3. The winner must claim the Prize within 14 days of being notified.
4.4. If the winner does not claim the Prize within this period, or is unable to accept the Prize for any reason, the Organiser reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.
5. Prize Details
5.1. The Prize consists of one (1) Nintendo Switch console (or latest available equivalent model at the time of fulfilment) with Pokémon Pokopia.
5.2. The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative.
6. Publicity & Privacy
6.1. By entering, participants consent to their name and likeness being used for promotional purposes related to the Giveaway, without additional compensation.
6.2. Any personal data collected will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Giveaway, including contacting participants regarding survey completion and winner notification.
7. Liability & Disclaimers
7.1. The Organiser is not responsible for any technical issues, lost entries, or other circumstances beyond its control that may affect participation.
7.2. The Organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Giveaway if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
7.3. By participating, entrants agree to release the Organiser from any liability related to the Giveaway or the Prize.
8. Governing Law
8.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
