Automation Consultants is pleased to announce that we have completed a SOC 2® examination and received a SOC 2® report, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to information security, data protection, and operational excellence.
System and Organisation Controls (SOC) is a suite of reporting frameworks developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The SOC 2® report provides independent assurance that an organisation’s systems, processes, and controls relevant to security, availability, and confidentiality have been assessed against recognised criteria.
David Wakem, CTO at Automation Consultants (AC), added:
Completing a SOC 2® examination demonstrates that AC has robust safeguards in place to protect information and manage risk, providing our clients with additional assurance that their data is handled securely and responsibly. It’s a highly valuable independent assessment that reflects how seriously we take information security and gives confidence to customers and prospects alike that they are well-placed to put their trust in AC.
David Wakem
For our customers, the SOC 2® report provides independent assurance that Automation Consultants operates in line with recognised best practices for managing and protecting information. Customers can be confident that appropriate controls are in place to safeguard data throughout its lifecycle, reduce operational and security risk, and support compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
The SOC 2® report is particularly valuable for customers operating in regulated or security-sensitive environments, helping to streamline supplier onboarding, assurance, procurement, and internal due diligence processes.
This milestone reflects our continued investment in best-practice governance, risk management, and compliance, and complements our existing security initiatives. As we continue to work with clients across regulated and data-sensitive sectors, maintaining the highest standards of trust and security remains a top priority for us as a business.
We would like to thank our teams for their commitment and diligence in completing this examination, and we look forward to continuing to support our clients.
